Air Force was not able to win the Commander-In-Chief’s Trophy outright last year. The academies shared the trophy after splitting the three-way competition. However, the one thing Air Force was able to do: Beat Navy.

It was another dud of a home opener for Navy this past weekend against the Delaware Blue Hens. For the third straight season, Navy opened its season at home and failed to score eight points.
Navy fell to Delaware 14-7 on Saturday in Annapolis. After the game, Mid’s head coach Ken Niumatalolo discussed the loss to the media.
