Challenges for Navy
After a lopsided loss at Cincinnati, the Midshipmen jump out of the pot and into the frying pan with a visit to No. 11 UCF. UCF is a team that does allow points but the Knights churn out over 40 points a game. Navy’s best hope is an effective option attack to keep the ball away from the UCF offense. Defensively, stopping the UCF offense will be a challenge but beating UCF isn’t an impossible task. Navy beat Memphis earlier in the season and the Tigers fell by just one point to UCF. UCF is giving up 188 rushing yards a game. There’s no reason Navy can’t be successful at running the ball on the Knights.
Saturday’s game kicks off at Noon ET and can be seen on ESPN.
