Synopsis
Uncover the mystery of a town in the central United States that locks out anyone who enters. As the residents struggle to maintain their sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive against the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as the Beaver Bank Cottage, has a long history and many years ago included housing units, a community center, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, and more (all demolished by 2004) to support workers at the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s.
Martin did not throw the rope
All that remains are the paved streets and alleys, and a mock town has been built on top of them. As Boyd enters the distant forest, he finds himself at the bottom of a well. A rope has been lowered onto him. When Boyd emerges from the well, Martin is the only one in the room and pinned to the wall.
Very intriguing series
Featured in Half in the Bag: 2022 Mid-Year Catch Up Part 1 (TV Show) (2022). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be), written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans, performed by The Pixies. Good storytelling. Good characters, like most of them, have common sense.
Good horror TV
Bloody to bits. Lots of mysterious things to think about. I really enjoyed the first season and hope they make a second. There aren’t many good horror TV shows anymore.
