The Search for Cillian Murphy (2024)
My eyes were completely glued to the screen from start to finish while watching this movie. The amount of non-dialogue scenes that have so much atmosphere and emotion is simply amazing. Cillian Murphy is absolutely amazing in this movie, as I expected him to be.
Emily Watson is brilliant as the Mother Superior
But the emotions he shows in this movie and the way he conveys them through his body language and facial expressions are simply amazing. He truly is one of the best actors of this generation. The tension she brings to every scene is fantastic.
This film was a perfect 1 hour and 45 minutes
It really shows how awful some nuns were back in the day. It felt even longer because I was so engrossed in it. The music and cinematography were so simple but so effective.
Overall this film was absolutely amazing and very enjoyable to watch
They both really gave the film a lot and just the finishing touches it needed. I would love to get more of these films in the future. It was also great to learn more about my country’s history, even if it’s the darker side of it.” “If you want to move forward in life, there are things you have to ignore, so you can keep them.” Eileen Furlong .
