I enjoyed reading James Patterson’s Alex Cross series
Series adaptation of James Patterson’s novels about the complex and brilliant detective Alex Cross. Hodge is the third actor to play Cross, following Morgan Freeman, who first played him on screen in 1997’s Kiss the Girls and again in the 2001 sequel Along Came a Spider; and Tyler Perry as the title character in 2012’s Alex Cross, which bombed at the box office and led Lionsgate to scrap the previously planned sequel, Double Cross.
Aldis Hodge is the perfect Alex Cross
As a fan of the character, when I heard the books were being turned into a series, I was worried that everything I loved about the books and characters would be destroyed, as most movie/TV adaptations tend to be. I can say that my concerns were unfounded.

Hodge possesses a commanding physical presence that is at the heart of the character, who is often portrayed as both a brilliant thinker and a man capable of holding his own in physical confrontations. His performance reflects a deep understanding of James Patterson’s novels.
